Dr. Jinusha Panigrahi
Ph.D. in Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi and UGC-NET qualified in Economics. She serves as the Co-Chair Person (2021-2024) of the Economics and Finance Education - SIG, Comparative International Education Society (CIES), USA. She is the recipient of the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) award nominated by the United States Department of State, Washington DC, for ‘Furthering United States – India Relationships in Higher Education’. Prior to joining CPRHE, she was an Assistant Professor in the Institute for Studies in Industrial Development. She also served as an Assistant Professor of Economics in several colleges of the University of Delhi. She has worked as a researcher with government organizations such as National Institute of Public Finance and Policy and Indian Institute of Foreign Trade. She has several publications in reputed international and national journals. She is the author of the Book “Higher Education Financing in India: Student Loans and Equity in Access”, Routledge, T & F Group, 2021. She is also the co-editor of the Books such as; “Financing of Higher Education: traditional approaches and innovative Strategies” Springer Nature, “India Higher Education Report 2021: Private Higher Education” Routledge, T & F Group and “India Higher Education Report 2018: Financing of Higher Education”, SAGE Publications. Her research work focuses in the areas of Economics of Education, Financing, Internationalisation and Private higher education.
